Others works of interactive fiction are made with nothing more than HTML and CSS, the languages that create readable websites. These creations are enjoying a renaissance on sites such as Neocities, a re-vamped version of the nineties website creator Geocities. Many blur the lines between fiction and non-fiction, opening up new ways to exist as a person online. One such website is The Monastery of St. Blamensir, an interactive non-linear Neocities page which allows you to explore a (small) world of cloisters and nuns. The monastery and titular saint are both fictional, but the hand-cut and painted illustrations lend a physicality to the site, making it feel closer to a found object.
