By and large, the internet regards only a few queer stories worth telling: the coming out story. IF pieces like Webb's remind us that we can use the internet to articulate ourselves in ways that glitch through these tropes of otherness and difference. We can write stories about Pokemon cards and apocalypses and labyrinths. When we resist the siren call of normativity, we are able to reach those who have fallen through the cracks of mainstream representation, to the people who are so often barred from the gardens of algorithmic delight.
